Financial Education That Works: Principles to Support Financial Well-Being

Financial education is not one-size-fits all. Social, economic, and cultural factors need to be considered when it comes to financial education and financial well-being for everyone. We initiated a research project to update its 2017 report on “Effective Financial Education: Five Principles and How to Use Them”. We wanted to ensure that the principles incorporate the latest research and are inclusive, and that they reflect practices that are effective for diverse populations.
