Collaborative Financial Therapy in Practice: A New Model of Financial Care

Collaborative financial therapy has largely been a theoretical model up to this point in financial therapy history. While the work of Rick Kahler, the Aspire Clinic, and others certainly need to be recognized, there haven’t been many concrete examples of what this model can look like in practice with clients. The Financial Therapy Clinical Institute offers one example of how professionals can collaborate in a single business meant to work with clients on 3 key parts of their financial health including mental/psychological/relational impact of money, long-term planning, and daily money management behavior.
