About
Copper Well Counseling exists at the intersection of Money and Mental Health. More and more research shows the impact our mental health has on our finances. We know trauma has a major impact on our mental and overall wellness - our financial wellness is no different. At least 1 in 4 Americans has experienced financial trauma. Are there ways financial trauma is disrupting your financial wellbeing?
I specialize in treating trauma using a technique called EMDR. This form of therapy is incredibly effective at resolving painful memories and subconscious beliefs that are holding us back from the life we want to live. EMDR is also used to improve performance.
ADHD and other neurodiversities are a passion of mine. Individuals with these needs often have unique money concerns that are not addressed with traditional financial advice. When working with a person who has ADHD or another learning difference, we discussed strategies that will improve their mental health and money relationship in a way that works for them.
