As a Certified Money Coach (CMC)® I use a short-term, structured approach to guide you to your own understanding of the emotional root of your unease with money. My specialty is working with people who have done inner work, yet still feel anxious or uncomfortable when it comes to money. I offer a holistic approach that allows you to finally connect your inner world and your money world. This is where the magic happens – where you are finally able to use money, in alignment with your values, to create an intentional life. How this approach differs from traditional money coaching: We do not look at your numbers. The focus is understanding your relationship with money so that you will be able to recognize and remove (heal) the obstacles that are preventing you from using money in alignment with your values and intentions. How this differs from therapy: The focus is not on healing. Some healing absolutely occurs during the process, but the focus of our work together is on helping you connect the dots between your money thoughts & behaviors and where they came from. This work sometimes uncovers a deeper trauma that requires further work with a licensed therapist. After our four sessions together, most of my clients have one of the following outcomes: 1) They report a greater sense of self-awareness and meaningful relief from financial stress, and they feel confident to continue working on their holistic money plan on their own. 2) They report feeling relief that they finally understand the origin of their unease with money, and go on to work with a licensed therapist to process the deeper developmental trauma or unresolved grief that were discovered during our work together. A deep appreciation for the complexity and vulnerability of the human experience informs my approach. In my work with clients, I draw on the learnings and skills I acquired as a Trauma-Informed Certified Coach and as a Certified Hypnotherapist, RTT® Practitioner.
