About

Hi! My name is Jenn and I am a financial planner and coach. I primarily work with women in their early-to-mid career stages who have never worked with a financial professional. These women are looking for a structured but encouraging environment with frequent accountability so that they can learn how to make wise choices with their money and design a plan for now and the future. I value the intersection of money and mindset and so I provide a coaching-centric approach to financial planning.

So why am I listed as a resource on the FTA? As a trained marriage and family therapist and a certified financial therapist (CFT-I), I know how much emotions and beliefs get tied up in our understanding of finances. My journey to financial freedom was marked with unhealthy narratives about money. For years I didn’t understand how much money I needed to live the kind of life I wanted - I was in a cycle of “earn it and spend it all … I’ll get to the planning part later”! Being deliberate with my money by going through a planning process felt too restricting, and I hadn’t been raised to be intentional with money. My family narrative seemed to be that everything would just work out - planning meant you were “too serious” and “didn’t know how to have fun”.

These beliefs translated to behaviors, and I eventually worked myself into a pile of debt with no savings and no goals... all while earning a very good income. I now have a much healthier relationship with money and am committed to helping others re-write their stories, provide practical and actionable coaching and planning services, and give hope for those who don’t believe their financial situation can get better.

My commitment to my clients is to provide impactful planning and coaching services in a non-judgmental, inspiring, and friendly manner. I will guide you in developing dreams for your desired future so that you can experience the freedom of an intentional life. My clients range from those with ample financial resources to those struggling to make ends meet each month. The common thread among them all is the unhelpful narrative of money they've accepted. It's time to create a story that serves you, your reality and your dreams! Everyone can afford to have goals and dreams. I can help put you back in charge of your money and your life.

I provide an initial 12-month financial planning and coaching package where you will receive a financial plan tailored to you and a coaching program to teach you how to implement that plan. Upon completion of this initial period, many clients choose to continue an ongoing planning relationship since they understand that true financial wellness is supported by the dynamic nature of a financial planning process. I do not believe a one-time static financial plan serves you well, therefore all of my services are designed around lifelong learning and growth.
