JW Financial Guidance, LLC was founded with the mission of helping clients uncover and live out their money story. The vision was to help guide clients on their money story journey. Initially designed as an education-focused company, the focus expanded to include working one-on-one with clients, their families, and their family-owned business. At the core remains a focus on strengths-based coaching and therapy, and serving clients in their journey to uncover and live out their money story.

Josh "JW" Harris has followed a thread of academic studies and professional experiences preparing him for helping clients uncover and live out their money story.

After graduating from Wofford College with a BA in Religion, he worked in non-profit program and retail management before pursuing a MBA in Finance from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. After several years working in financial services he pursued a career in academia along with completing a doctorate in Personal Financial Planning with a certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University.

He remains an active member in professional organizations like the Financial Planning Association, Financial Therapy Association, and the National Association for Personal Financial Advisors, where he continues to serve as a thought leader.
