About

Sarah Carr has been a Certified Financial Planner for over 20 years and more recently earned her Level 1 certification as a Certified Financial Therapist™. She currently runs her own financial planning and wealth management practice, where she specializes in helping others cultivate overall financial well-being.

Sarah says her personal journey parallels much of the work she does with clients, helping them rethink and reshape their financial beliefs and behaviors. Coming from a high-demand religious background, she understands firsthand the challenging process of deconstructing the beliefs one was raised with. She believes challenging these scripts is an act of liberation. It’s a journey of breaking free from the limitations imposed by others, leading to the reclamation of autonomy in living out one’s own values and beliefs.

Raising two neurodiverse children, Sarah also advocates for progressive education helping to facilitate programs that are inclusive and supportive of all learners. Sarah serves on the board of the Reclamation Collective, a community advocacy organization providing resources and support for those harmed in religious and spiritual contexts.
